Jason Colton
Jason moved to North Carolina in 1998 from upstate New York (yes, he’s a Yankee turned Southern guy). He found his passion with jet skis and a short time after relocating, he purchased his first stand-up jet ski and the rest is history! Being a hands-on guy who loves to fix things, he tinkered with it his spare time when he wasn’t working construction. In 2002, he made the switch from construction to the personal watercraft service industry, working and honing his skillset at a local powersports shop in Mooresville. Fast forward to 2023, he decided it was time to branch out and make a go of Lake Norman Jet Ski Service. He is excited to become your trusted powersports mechanic!
In his spare time, Jason enjoys spending time on the water, riding and racing his dirt bike, hiking, mountain biking, and spending time with his wife and fur babies.
Billy Vogel
Billy has lived in Mooresville since 2002. He relocated temporarily to Sacramento, California in 2008-09 after placing in a contest that sent him to WyoTech on a scholarship. There, he earned his diploma in automotive technology, specializing in high performance engines.
He has been involved in the jet ski and power sports industry since 2005. This interest started while he was working the docks and assisting with boat and jet ski rentals during high school. He found his passion for jet ski mechanics riding stand up jet skis and spending days on the lake with his friends. Between his love of working on high performance engines and the experience gained working at a local powersports service business for the past fifteen years, he decided it was time to start his own business, hence the partnership of Lake Norman jet ski service. He is looking forward to meeting you and getting you and you out on the water.
In his spare time, Billy has his hands full with a young and wild baby, his dogs, and dirt biking.
